Pregnancy Tests

If you think you may be pregnant, contact us to schedule an appointment for a no-cost pregnancy test. Our tests are medical-grade, and services are confidential as allowable by California law. Please note: a valid form of ID w/ photo must be presented at time of visit.

Pre-abortion Assessment

If you’re considering chemical abortion, also known as an at-home abortion, Mifepristone and Misoprostol should only be taken before the end of the first trimester. These two drugs should not be taken without first seeing a medical professional. A pre-abortion assessment includes a medical-grade pregnancy test, an ultrasound and a medical consultation. The Licensed RN will determine if it’s a viable pregnancy, how far along you are, and where the fetus is implanted. Once you have this information, you’ll be able to make a more informed decision. Obstetrical Ultrasound*

Ultrasound scans are performed by medically-trained professionals under the supervision of our Medical Doctor, and according to AIUM* standards. Ultrasound is used to confirm the viability of the pregnancy and determine how far the pregnancy has progressed. Schedule your ultrasound after an initial pregnancy test appointment.

*Limited OB Ultrasound as defined by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Scans performed at APHC are nondiagnostic.

Mobile Clinic

Can’t make it to the center in Merced, but still need a pregnancy test or ultrasound? We have a mobile clinic that travels to Los Banos and Winton, so you can still receive the care you need for free.
